Update from Lennox St

We took down the Ipomea/Morning Glory on Thursday: it did flower, up
to ten a day, but had developed some kind of withering weakness this
year. B. never thinks it will come anyway, and we both enjoy having
the sunny window cleared and cleaned.

But guess what we found in the garden: a PRIMROSE in flower, and a
winter flowering jasmine (pics of both attached). Not to mention my
giant sunflower, which has just about reached knee height.

Our lovely Polish cleaning lassie, Isabella, was married in Leith
Town Hall on Friday, and I enclose a pic of her and her husband Jack
with B. We weren't invited, but went down on an impulse and were
welcomed in, as it was a tiny wedding with plenty of room. They were
then going for a Chinese meal, and a one night honeymoon in Paris.

B is packed ready for Ireland - in fact she had packed her
toothbrush, and forgotten about it but I rescued her. I'm afraid she
needs fairly constant care nowadays, but I'm sure she will enjoy the
week away from me, and I plan to clear some clutter. I confessed in
our informal church service this morning to having counted my
underpants, found 52, and chucked out 26. I need to set about other
items too, and will.

Lots of love to you all,

Zander and B.
ps Forgot to mention my apple crop. One eating apple from 2 trees.
