The Morning Glory in our south-facing window always flowers late, but this year has had terrible withering leaves and so it was a triumph on Saturday when it burst into bloom. Two pics of it above.
Our other big win last week was to wangle a Delta Frame out of the NHS. The physio was not sure B. would not tip it sideways, but at least it does give us a better way of keeping B. fit without endangering her, if I go with her round the block. Two pics of this too.
One slight set back was at swimming on Sunday, when B's left arm seemed to fail her a couple of times, and she was asked to move to the kiddies' pool. We don't swim a lot, and it could just be temporary.
Teresa has volunteered to try and set up a rota of friends to cover B. while I go curling, which is wonderful. I have something like 40 games between now and the end of March, and the Kinross ones involve a 4-hour absence, which would not be safe imho. I'd tried to find what help is available through social work, and failed, mainly because it is evenings. So this is a major step forward. B. could come with me, but if there isn't good company watching (and there usually isn't except on special occasions) she gets very bored.
There you are with another update.
Lots of love,
Zander and pp B.
P.S. Margie Blake came for the night last night, which was fun, but I
forgot to take any pics.
