Winter in Scotland

Sue has snow, Joanna has snow, Gillian skidded on ice and has snow, and we are getting reddy.
I shut off the outside pipe to the garden tap, and took down the Morning Glory, so that the sun now streams in the living-room window. Strangely, after two days of no flowers, the poor wee plant put out two on the day of its execution, but I was merciless.
Today we went to Glasgow for the BPS Scottish conference (where I had a poster up about the psychology of Nudism) and only hit a few airy flakes. But it is forecast. It seems too early for winter, but when the Boat of Garten birds fly off to NZ it must be coming.
Lots of love,
Z and B
