Some of you may remember Mister, our white Indian Runner drake who died a few months back - and his wife, Missus, was very upset. Well, the good news is that we went to a poultry fair last week............
(see www.petethevet.com for more about that) and we found the perfect new friend for her.
He is a brown (hopefully to be black) Indian Runner - just a baby, with some fluff still. She took to him at once, and they are close friends already, trailing each other around the garden.
Love at first sight. Platonic so far, but we are hoping for ducklings next summer :-)
