.... a wee bit about Pip the duck

Pip was an Indian Runner duckling rejected by his mother but rescued by Joyce - he lived in our kitchen for months, having baths upstairs three times daily. He had health problems from the start - a crooked leg that was fixed with complex orthopaedic operations was the most obvious - but sadly he eventually developed a severe gastrointestinal problem and quietly passed away. But never to be forgotten :-)
